Stormy Day Out

Okay, so Brent and I went out to Walmart earlier today to get some supplies to make my lightbox. I uploaded a pic of it, but it’s not finished – we couldn’t find any lights that I wanted, so we’re going to look for some online. The lights I have aren’t nearly enough, so the pictures I put up that were taken inside the lightbox are all yellowy and not the way they’re supposed to be. Hopefully we can make some money off my old camera and get a few lights to go in there. Anyways, on the way to Walmart, it was so sunny and the sky was so blue and the clouds were so fluffy, so I took a few pics of how pretty it was… About half way to Walmart though, clouds started rolling in and a storm was a-brewin’. I took about 1,200 pics (yes, literally) and it took me forever to go through and only keep the good ones. I was trying so hard to get some good lightning pics. The storm wasn’t cooperating very well, so I only have one really good lightning shot and a couple lame ones. I have plenty of cool shots of all the stormy clouds though. All these storm pics were taken out the window while driving, so I was impressed with how well they came out. I love storms, but I get so paranoid that I’m going to get struck by lightning or a tornado is going to get me. Hah. I know, I’m like a little kid. But anyways. We got home, and Brent (like the sweetheart he is) put together my lightbox for me, and I took a few pictures of random things in there. The box itself is so perfect! He did an awesome job putting it together. He gave me some inspiration for the heart pictures I took. =)
