Lei of Love

I was going to go outside today for some pics, but the weather was kinda crappy. So I found my lei I had hanging from a shelf and I thought it would be a neat idea to make a heart out of it. This pic was taken in my lightbox, with no lights in there! Lol and it came out better than the pics with lights… So I think one of the lights I have is what was making the pictures so yellowy. Anyways. I also took a picture with this blue swirly light I have which I thought was kinda cool. Hopefully the weather is better tomorrow for some pics. I’m running out of things inside to take pictures of, and I’m sure it’s getting boring with my penguin sheets, green walls or my lightbox for the background for every picture.
Does your camera have white balance features? I set mine to “incandescent” or “tungsten” when taking pictures in my light box, and it reduces the yellow color.

It would be cool to do an entire week of heart photos. I wonder if I could get everyone who is doing this project to do it at the same time…
It does have white balance features. I was still learning about them at the time, but now I know just how to use them. I need to take my light box down and mess with it some. And I love the heart week idea. That would be cute. Let me know when you get everyone to do it. <3
