Beach

My dad is in the Coast Guard, so all my life, I’ve lived pretty much within walking distance of a beach, so I love them. Here though, we have to drive about an hour and a half to get to one, so I enjoyed staying in the Outer Banks this past weekend. Saturday was the perfect day to go to the beach, because it wasn’t too hot, not too cold, and the sky was beautifully clear and blue, and the waves were coming in, so it made for good pictures, and there wasn’t a lot of people… I really enjoyed walking in the sand barefoot, even though it was pretty cold because of the water. I even picked up some shells along the way. I would love to live right on the beach with a set of stairs like in some of these pictures that lead right to the sand. The only problems though are hurricanes and tourists. Plus, on these beaches, there’s just too many people. The houses are so packed in. So because of all that, I’d like to live in a house where I could drive out to the beach whenever I wanted. The house we stayed at was in a perfect place. The neighborhood was nice, and it was about 10 miles from the beach. Not too long of a drive. I think I’d want to live more north though… I wouldn’t enjoy the beaches as much in the summer time here… Too hot for my taste. But anyways, I was being lazy today and I didn’t take any pictures, so I posted this picture for today. Makes me want to go back though… Lol
