About Me

Hey everyone! This is my photography blog. My name is Amanda Martin, but you can call me Mandy. This site was started by my fiance and I (his name is Brent Peden – hence “Positively Peden”). He was going to put some of his graphic work on here as well, but has a couple other websites he is working on with friends so he let me use this one for my photography. He made my logo for me, and does all the complicated website coding and editing for me.

I’ve always been interested in photography, but really started to get into it once I bought my camera. I have a FujiFilm s1000. It takes great photos and is a good camera to start learning all the features on more complicated cameras.

I participate in something called “Project 365” which is a project where you take at least one picture every day and you post about it. Then you can look back after a year of doing this and you can see how you’ve improved. I heard about Project 365 from a friend of mine, and thought it was the perfect thing for me. It helps me keep taking photos, and gets me in the habit of posting up here. Hopefully everyone enjoys my photo blog, and any constructive criticism is highly welcome. I’m still learning and would love to hear any advice you may have.
