Today’s song is “Yellow Flowers” by David Franj. I took this picture the other day when I noticed a random yellow flower that was in the yard. Brent’s mom told me it’s called a Cantalilly. I had to turn down the saturation in the picture because the yellow was so bright – in case you were wondering why it was so dull looking. Trust me, the original would have burned your retinas out. Lol.

Today’s song is “Escape (The Pina Colada Song)” by Rupert Holmes. This picture is of my Strawberry Pina Colada Fruitista I got from Taco Bell today. I love those things. They’re so yummy.

This Week’s Theme: A Song in My Heart

I’m really having too much fun with this theme…. Hehe. Today’s THIRD song is “Pink” by Aerosmith. I used to love this song. And I still do. I love Aerosmith in general. This picture is actually my pink light clock, and I kept the shutter speed on low and moved the camera while the shutter was down. It made a cool effect.

I couldn’t pick just a few lines from this song… Haha.

This Week’s Theme: A Song in My Heart

I had to post again today… I got this picture of a cute little rabbit and couldn’t wait until tomorrow to post it. Hehe. Anyways, today’s second song is “White Rabbit” by Jefferson Airplane. I know this rabbit isn’t white, but I couldn’t really find any other rabbit songs… When I was taking this picture, the rabbit was staying real still watching me, and he really camouflages well with the mulch behind him. I had to zoom in pretty far to get this picture, but I’m glad I did because as soon as I moved just one more step closer, he took off running. He was fast too. Hehe. We get these bunnies in our yard all the time because we feed them. We were feeding some geese, but they stopped coming… They’ll be back before they take off for the winter though. They do the same every year. We’ve even seen deer in the yard because we have apple trees. I like living out here. Lots of picture opportunities. =)

This Week’s Theme: A Song in My Heart

Today’s song is “Candy” by Cameo. I looked all over, and couldn’t find a song about Jolly Ranchers in general. I did find “Laffy Taffy” by D4L that referenced Jolly Ranchers, but it wasn’t so appropriate. Lol. Anyways, I’ve been meaning to take a picture of my Jolly Ranchers I bought a couple weeks ago, and I’m happy with these results. There’s another one in my gallery that has more Jolly Ranchers in the shot. I want some gummy bears.. Those would make a better picture…. And they’re yummy. Hehe.

There were a few parts of the song that made me think of Jolly Ranchers…

Today’s song is “Time After Time” by Cyndi Lauper. This clock is one I bought a few years ago from a thrift store. It was back when I was obsessed with pink, and I had pink walls in my room, so it looked awesome in there. The light is pink, but it looks yellow in this pic… Anyways, now it just sits around without being lit up… But I was cleaning up under my desk and found it so I lit it for a picture. This song always makes me think of Napoleon Dynamite. Hehe.

Today’s song is “Petals From a Fallen Rose” by Aura. I actually took this picture yesterday. Brent and I went outside and took some pictures of an orange flower that our neighbor planted in front of their mailbox, which is right next to ours. Then I saw this flower that fell off it’s tree and thought it made a cute picture. I just took the picture, without any intention of using it for this theme, but then I was looking through some song titles for a picture for today and found “Petals from a Fallen Rose” and thought it fit for this pic. =)

Also, I’ve changed the theme colors for my blog and I made a new logo and rss logo for the colors. I hope everyone likes it. I was feeling the need for a change…

Today’s song is “What’s New Pussycat?” By Tom Jones. I couldn’t resist putting in a pic of Toulouse somewhere. I’m having a lot of fun with this theme. =)

And in case you were wondering what he was looking at so hard, he was watching Brent eat chicken. Hehe Toulouse LOVES chicken. He was waiting for Brent to give him a piece. =)

This Week’s Theme: A Song in My Heart

This week’s theme is “A Song in My Heart”. I chose this theme because I thought it would be cool to take pictures and relate them to different songs… Today’s song is “Black Dog” by Led Zeppelin. The black dog in this picture is one of the six different dogs we have in our house. Heh. She wasn’t staying still, so I only got two good shots of her. Plus it was starting to rain and she wanted to go inside.

Her eyes kinda look red… Lol. I’ll put a few lines in these posts this week that have to do with the picture and why I related the song to it. =)
