Wind Chime

6 Feb

I really love this picture. I like how you can barely see the wind chime because the camera focused on the branch, and the bokeh effect in the picture…. You can really see the depth to the picture. It’s not what everyone would think of as a great picture, but I really like it. It’s always the odd and unique pictures that I like the best. =)

Sad Attempt…

Bokeh Attempt

This is an attempt at getting a picture of Christmas lights all unfocused, just like this image. I did NOT take that picture, but I love it. I found it at InterfaceLIFT. I wish I could take a picture like that, but I’ve tried so many times in the last few days, and this is the best one I’ve gotten. I think I need a lot more lights in one big bunch… All the lights are already on the tree, so I can’t put them all in a bunch to try it…. Maybe when we take them down, I’ll try it again. Lol.

Berries

Berries

I’m not sure what type of berries these are, but I thought they were a beautiful color. And surprisingly, I only had to take one picture of them to get the right focus. And it has bokeh in the background! (Differences in lens aberrations and aperture shape can cause some lens designs to blur the image in a way that is pleasing to the eye, or bokeh effect. In this image, the background has a lot of circles formed from the light.) I love bokeh. It’s so pretty…. When I get it to come out right, anyway…

P.S. I can’t believe it’s November already! Where has the time gone?
