Bree

Today we went to Mrs. Boone’s house with Carla and I took pics of Bree again. She wasn’t as cooperative as she was last time… Lol. She kept going to sleep. Also, some of the pictures are kind of blurred, and I realized after I took them that I had a fingerprint on my lens… That’s why they’re blurry… I’m kinda pissed at myself that I’d let that happen… But whatever. I guess that’s what I get for not having a lens cap for my camera… I added some other pics I took of Sophie as well. She’s their other Weim. She’s really shy though, so she doesn’t usually let me take pics of her… She’s warming up to me though… Maybe next time I go there she’ll let me do a photoshoot with her. =)

Photo Shoot With Bree

Bree

Today we went to Mrs. Boone’s house again, and she wanted me to take some pictures of Bree. So of course, I happily took on the job. She was the best model, and stayed still while I put lots of hats on her and got all in her face with the camera. She loved it. Brent was in the pool, and I brought her down there to sit with him when we were taking a break for a bit, and Bree was sitting on the side of the pool right next to me. I took a picture of her because she had her front paws crossed all pretty-like, and then Brent splashed her. I got a shot of the water hitting her, and she got so upset. Lol. She hated being splashed. I got a picture of her walking away from us because of it… Hehe. After that she sat behind me so he couldn’t splash her anymore. Then we took her out of the back yard on a leash and boy was I lucky we hooked it to her! She started pulling me all over the yard because she smelled something… Or she just wanted to run around… But I was so nervous that she’d get away from me. So Brent took the leash while I tried to snap a couple good shots with the river and pier right behind her… I got a couple good ones, but she really wasn’t cooperating, so we brought her in. I love that dog… She’s sooooo sweet. And you’d never know it (except in the pics where it shows) but she had to have one of her back legs amputated. She gets around pretty good though. Maybe next week I can get Sophie to let me take more pictures of her… She is really timid around new people, and usually runs off when I get near… But she kept watching me take pictures of Bree like she was jealous… Hehe.

Colorful Cellphones

C is for Cellphones

This Week’s Theme: Alphabet A through G

Today’s letter is C, and I chose to take pictures of our “C”ell phones. Last night, Brent and I got new cell phones for us and his sister and mom. His sister got the same phone I did, so I left hers out of this picture. From the green phone down, I’ll tell you which is who’s. The green Motorola Q9C is my old one, and the purple Motorola Rival is my new one. The pink and black Intrigue is Brent’s mom’s new phone (she didn’t have one before last night) and the black Q9c is Brent’s old one, the blue enV3 is Brent’s new one. I thought it would be cute to make them in the shape of the letter C too.

Today we went to Mrs. Boone’s house again with Brent’s mom so he could hook up DVD players and stuff for them. While there, I took lots of pictures (I think I ended up with over 300 total – including the blurry and not so great pics) of their four dogs and some pretty flowers and even some butterflies! There were huge butterflies around as well, but they kept going away any time I got close. But anyways, there’s pics of Sophie and Bree, their two Weimaraners, and Mike and Sugar, their other two dogs. Bree is the newest addition, and all of them are rescued except Sophie (Mrs. Boone bought her). She helps rescue dogs around here. All four of them are so sweet. Sophie is nervous around new people, but I think she’s warming up to us. Bree was following me and posing for me all day long. I love the pics of her on her back on the floor. She laid like that for like, a half hour. Hehe. Sugar was Brent’s buddy all day. She’s the most hyper of the four. And all Mike does is lay around. He reminds me of our dog here, Spanky. he’s laid back, doesn’t go crazy for attention, but likes it when he gets it. Hehe.

N is for Nose

This Week’s Theme: M-A-N-D-Y

Today’s letter is N, and I took a picture of Bree’s Nose. We went to Mrs. Boone’s house with Carla today and she has the sweetest dogs. This one is Bree, and I fell in love with her. I love her green eyes. She only has three legs because she got one of her back legs caught in a trap and it had to be amputated. Mrs. Boone rescued her a few months ago. She also has Mike, a brown dog (I also posted a pic of him in my gallery along with another of Bree) and a blond dog named Sugar, and another Weimaraner named Sophie. Sophie and Sugar were moving around way too much for me to get a good shot of them, so I just have Mike and Bree up here. She had a ton of flowers and cute ornaments all in her yard, so I was having a blast taking pics of all of them. The scenery there was just so pretty; they’re right on the water, and they have their own dock. She also has a pool, and I had Brent jump in so I could get the splash from the water. Some of the shots came out pretty cool, so I posted a couple in my August gallery as well. Have fun looking at all my pics! Lol =)

I didn’t know the names of any of the flowers, so if you know any of them, let me know! =) I finally got a close up shot of a sunflower! I was so excited. Lol

Oh, and while I was there, I found Burt the Bee’s long lost cousin, Ned! <3

P.S. There’s a picture in my gallery of a little green frog inside a post of their fence, but it was really dark in there, and you couldn’t see him. In Photoshop, I used the “Shadow/Highlights” option and made it brighter, which made it a little noisy. So that’s why it looks kinda weird.
