A Day With The Kitties

16 Aug

Billie

Today we brought the kittens into our room. They usually stay in Brent’s mom’s bathroom, which is pretty big, so they’re away from the dogs, since they’re still not full grown yet. For those who don’t know, we found these two kittens on the road back in June, and we’ve been taking care of them since, but we don’t plan on keeping them. Their names are Billie and Clyde (both males) and Clyde is a grey tabby that looks just like our cat, Toulouse. There’s pictures of both of them back when we first got them in the June album if you want to see them. They’ve gotten so big. In this picture is Billie. He was so pretty and he was sitting so still that I had to take a pic. Clyde was exploring all around the room, and by the time he actually sat down, I had already put up my camera. Once he did lay with me in the bed though, he actually watched TV. It was so cute. He was just staring at it for about an hour. They both fell asleep with me in the bed and were really good, so we’ll probably bring them in our room more often. They love Toulouse (he’s about 3 1/2 years old now) and he likes them as long as they’re not eating his food. Hehe.

Anyways, tomorrow, we’re going back to Mrs. Boone’s house with Brent’s mom again, so I’ll probably have plenty of pictures to post again. I love her house and all the plants she has all around the yard.

My Lovies

My Lovies

Today was a great day. We had to go out early to mail out my old camera so Brent and I got some breakfast from McDonald’s. Then we came back and took a nap and then woke up and snuggled some more. We let the kitties out to play (since they were sick, we had to keep them in a big box so they didn’t puke all over the room, but they’re feeling better now) and they played for a while. Then Clyde came and snuggled with Brent, and they were both sleeping. It was too cute, so that was my photo for today. I also put up a picture of a street sign that was in front of the post office that said Perquimans Street (we live in Perquimans County). And our yard looked so sunny so I got a picture of that. Anyways, we’re getting ready to watch a movie and snuggle some more – snuggling is my favorite thing to do in case you didn’t know. =)

In the Eye of the Beholder

In the Eye of the Beholder

Today was kinda a crappy day. Clyde and Bonnie were both sick, so I’ve been cleaning up puke (yuck!) all day. I found some time to get a few pictures and do my post for today. I hate that I didn’t get outside like I wanted. It was so nice out. Anyways, I put up a picture that I took in the bathroom mirror of me taking the picture. I thought that was kinda cool. And I put up pictures of my sad, small desk that holds my ginormous 20 year old monitor… My computer is on the floor underneath it, but didn’t get in the pic. You can kinda tell that these pictures were last minute, since three out of the four were taken from my computer chair right before I posted them. Lol Anyways, I have to go out to town tomorrow anyways, so hopefully I can get some good pictures outside.

And I just realized that my camera looks extremely tiny along with my freakishly long fingers… It is a small camera, but not that small. Hahaha

Narcoleptic Clyde

Today Brent was playing with Bonnie and Clyde (our foster kittens). He had them running after toys all over a little box/jungle gym he made for them. Clyde was more into it than Bonnie was, and then all of a sudden, he just lays down on the “monkey bars” and falls right to sleep. So I had to take pictures of course. I think he may be narcoleptic. He does it any time he plays a lot. Just drops down and sleeps where ever he falls. Hah. Those kittens are hours of entertainment. I just happened to get the stages of him falling asleep, so I went in Photoshop and made an animation for this post. I know the pics aren’t all that clear (my camera doesn’t have image stabalization, so any movement throws it off), but I just couldn’t resist. Hope everyone enjoys it.

I also took a picture of Brent’s guitar. It didn’t come out as good as I wanted, but I noticed that it’s extremely reflective, so I think tomorrow once it’s sunny outside I’ll take it out there and find something to have in the reflection. Brent suggested the sky if there’s clouds… But there’s so many trees in our yard. Hopefully I can get a good shot.
